Witches at Gardner Village

On Friday we met Grandma Huls, Katie and Jeremy at Gardner Village. We had lots of fun looking in the shops and finding all the witches. We especially liked the one in the outhouse and the one flying on her bicycle.

Craw fish and Camping

Shaun took the girls camping last weekend. They went up to Deer Creek Reservoir and made tinfoil dinners and roasted marshmallows. Kaylees says they even heard some coyotes howling. The next day they went up to Strawberry Reservoir and caught a bunch of craw fish. They brought a cooler full of them home. A whole cooler turned into a small bowl of meat by the time they were cooked and shelled. But Shaun said it was good and tasted like lobster.

Sydnie Turns One!!!

Time just goes by so fast these days. I don't know if its just because I am getting old or that Sydnie was an exceptionally good baby. But I just can't believe my little baby is a year old already. We love our sweet Sydnie so much. She is such a pleasant easy going little girl. She didn't really care too much about this party, but her older sisters sure were excited about it. She of course had more fun playing with her cake than eating it. And once her presents were unwrapped, Kaylee and Brianne started playing with her toys, and Sydnie had fun with the packaging and wrapping paper.

Brianne and Kaylee had their first day of school on the same day this year. Kaylee started into second grade, she had me cut her hair off a few days before school started. She looks so grown up. Brianne left later that day for her second year of preschool. They were so excited to wear their new school clothes. They decided to wear the same outfit today, but this year I managed to buy mostly buy different clothes, well at least in different colors.

Kaylee loves the camera. If my camera is out she is always trying to get in front of it. It's never been hard to get her to pose and smile, the trick is to get her to act natural.

Here is our Brianne at age 4. She is a little camera shy but when you get her to smile she does a good one.

Getting three girls to smile at the same time was tough, but I managed to get a few cute ones. I used photo shop to paste a new head on one of the pictures of Sydnie. See if you can figure out which one it is.
